Let’s face it - Bhujia is iconic. That crispy, crunchy, spicy little noodle of joy has been a staple in Indian snacking for generations. It’s on our train journeys, at chai time, during Netflix binges, and even snuck into office drawers for that 4 PM pick-me-up. But here’s the thing: while our taste buds love it, our bodies? Not so much.
At Total Snacc, we’re on a mission to bring India’s most loved snacks into the modern era without the health baggage. So, when we decided to re-engineer Bhujia, we didn’t want to mess with its soul, we just wanted to give it a glow-up.
Here’s how we cracked the code.
Step 1: Keeping the OG Taste & Crunch 💥
Bhujia’s magic is in its texture and spice hit. If we took that away, we’d be doing a disservice to the snack (and you). So our first task was clear:

Most namkeens, Bhujia included, are seriously lacking in fibre. In fact that is one of biggest demerit on health. That leads to bloating, poor digestion, and sugar crashes after snacking.
We added acacia fibre - a gut-friendly, plant-based prebiotic that your stomach will actually thank you for. It blends invisibly into the mix, without altering the taste
